Acuerdo cerrado entre el Cádiz CF y el FC Arouca para el traspaso de Mario Climent (2002), que inicia una nueva etapa en el fútbol portugués tras firmar un contrato por dos temporadas, con una tercera opcional.
El lateral izquierdo da el salto a la Primeira Liga, la máxima categoría del fútbol portugués, después de una etapa muy destacada de temporada y media en el Cádiz CF.
Durante su paso por el conjunto gaditano, Mario disputó 51 partidos oficiales, 48 de ellos como titular, y aportó 3 goles y 5 asistencias, consolidándose como una pieza importante en el equipo.

An agreement has been reached between Cádiz CF and FC Arouca for the permanent transfer of Mario Climent (2002). The Spanish left-back begins a new chapter in Portugal after signing a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
Mario makes the move to the Primeira Liga, Portugal’s top-flight division, following an impressive season and a half with Cádiz CF.
During his time with the Spanish club, he made 51 official appearances, 48 of them as a starter, while contributing 3 goals and 5 assists, establishing himself as a key player for the team.
